The utility moratorium that halted all water shut offs for delinquent payments ended on Sept 30th, 2021. The City will resume the use of water shut offs to get utility accounts current. If a Utility Account was past due as of Sept. 28th when bills were due, that account is subject to a water shut off.
If you have a utility account past due and a notice was mailed out, this is a reminder to please take action by Oct. 11th to avoid a water shut off. City Hall is currently closed Friday - Sunday, so it is recommended to contact City Hall staff by Oct. 7th to avoid delays on Oct. 11th. Please complete one of the following to avoid a water shut off.
Pay the amount due on the Utility Bill.
Call City Hall to set up a payment plan for the amount owed.
Provide proof of assistance from OIC or other programs to City Hall.
PLEASE NOTE:
Water Shut offs will add a $20 shut off fee to the amount owed, and an additional $20 will be charged to turn the water back on.
Late fees will resume for October billings. $25 will be charged to unpaid utility bills past the October 28th due date.
