New Person in Town

New Coalition Coordinator:

SLPC is welcoming our new Coalition Coordinator, Ryan Boldman. Growing up in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia and traveling all over the United States has shaped Ryan's love for communities and his desire to see them thrive. Experiencing extreme poverty and the effects of substance abuse first-hand during his youth, as well as the healing that a positive and engaged community brings, propelled Ryan toward a life of service to others. He has served as an EMT in three states, and as a volunteer and paid pastor. Now, his role is to utilize his varied experience to coordinate the Soap Lake Prevention Coalition's efforts by providing important information on potential substance abuse risks, organizing prevention programs, and helping to sustain coalition efforts for long-term success.

Quarterly Potlucks:

Everyone loves a good meal! On January 24th, the Prevention Coalition celebrated its success and growth by having a potluck. The event was so positively received that we decided to do quarterly potlucks from now on. All are welcome at our table for future potlucks (Just be sure to RSVP so we can have enough food on it).
