The City is having the East Water Tower worked on this Mid-October as a part of its regular maintenance. This includes emptying the tank to clean and repaint the interior as needed. This also includes applying a fresh coat of paint on the exterior of the tank, which will match the existing graphics. The tank is scheduled to begin emptying on Thursday, Oct. 15th, and work crews will start their work on Monday, Oct 19th. While the City will continue to operate and provide water throughout town using the West Water Tower, there may be reduced water pressure during the maintenance work period.
